8. Buddy System
Remember when you went on field trips as a child and your teacher assigned you a “buddy”? The Buddy System was effective then and it’s still effective now. Sit down with your children before going on an adventure and talk to them about what to do in various situations. Assign them to a buddy (a friend, a sibling, etc) and how they can watch out for each other on your outing. Read more here.
