7. CPR Certification
You never think you’ll actually need to know CPR until you do. This happened to us one year on a cruise in the Caribbean. A man was knocked out by a kayak and became unconscious face down in the water. Other vacationers around us were prepared and took charge of the situation with CPR… I went home a week later and enrolled in the first CPR class I could find. You never know when you’ll need this skill. Find a local CPR class to attend with your family from cpr.heart.org.
