Planning for camping with kids

It’s true, if you’re going to go camping with kids, you can’t just grab a few items, jump in the car, and go. It does take a little thought and planning to be successful. But it doesn’t take any more planning than it does to jet off on a plane to the beach. Just a different kind. So what do you need to be successful at camping with kids?
