“Quiet Time” Activities for Young Toddlers

A Movable Road

You’ll need to tap into your inner crafting god or goddess to create this “Quiet Time” activity for your toddler. But, when you have a busy little one, you’ll be glad you did. Purchase black, blue and green felt. Then, cut strips out of the black felt for the roads, green squares for the grass and blue blobs for the lakes. Your toddler is sure to stay busy moving the pieces around, creating his or her own landscapes.
