You don’t have to serve a PB&J day after day, not when there are so many fun ways to make a “sandwich.” Turn your child’s sandwich into a wrap by using a whole-grain tortilla instead of bread. Instead of a sandwich, serve things like banana muffins, blueberry muffins, or crackers with meat & cheese. Kids like crackers because they can build their own sandwich as they eat. This is one of the only opportunities they’ll get to play with their food, so let them enjoy it!
