How to Make The Most of Family Time

Plan A Monthly Excursion

At least once a month, my husband and I take our boys on a family excursion.  This has ranged from long Sunday drives to an afternoon at the golf course to a family campout in the backyard.  I especially try to make our excursions match up with things my boys are learning at school.  If they are studying the Ancient Egyptians, I’ll try to take them to a museum with Egyptian artifacts on display.  Plan these family excursions each month and make them sacred, non-negotiable time.
