Go To School
I know it can be hard to take time in the morning to get your kids to school, but those minutes really add up. Walk or drive your children to school, and/or, if possible, VOLUNTEER in their classrooms! I’ve observed in my own classroom that the children whose parents drop them off and/or come in to volunteer are the same students who advance the most. Notice I didn’t say that these are the students who are “the smartest” or “the best”, but that over the course of a school year, these students make the most progress over time. With , if they keep making the most personal progress, they eventually WILL be the students who can handle more advanced curriculum. It’s incredible what a little extra time spent with your children can do for their wellbeing (and YOURS!!).
