UNPLUG!
We recently returned from a family trip. I have always loved people watching at airports and elsewhere on vacations. I’m sure that most of you have observed the same sad trend that I saw at every turn and corner: everyone was on their cell phone! At restaurant tables, standing in line for rides, on excursion buses, in the restroom… everyone, grandmas and grandpas included, was on a device, ignoring the people right in front of them. Now, I understand that it really is handy to use your cell phone to look up information that goes along with your conversation, but otherwise, checking social media, emailing, playing games, etc. can all wait! Retrain yourself and your family to be connect with each other and not your devices.
