Parents who know how to listen when needed are great parents. Sometimes kids need a listening ear, not advice or judgment. If you learn how to be a good listener, your children will be more likely to come to you when they have problems.
10. Be Flexible
The last of our 10 traits of great parents just might be one of the most important. Parents learn to be flexible, either by choice or by force, because things often do not go as planned. When you can be flexible, open-minded and relaxed, everyone benefits.
