1. Fun with Spaghetti

If you have small children who need less screen time, let them play with cooked spaghetti. After giving it time to cool, pour the pasta into a plastic container and hand it over to your child. He or she is sure to spend an hour or two feeling and playing with the cold noodles.

2. Sock Mopping

To keep your kids busy and get a little cleaning done, start a sock mopping party. Move the kitchen table to another room for more space. Then, sweep the floors. Fill a pan with soapy water and select a pair of mopping socks. You and your kids will have a blast slipping and sliding around while cleaning your floors.

3. Build a Fort

4. Bring Out the Board Games

8. Fix Something

9. Hold a Dance Party
