Today I’ve got some Spring Break vacation ideas for kids. It isn’t always easy to come up with a great Spring Break vacation idea that the whole family will love, but today’s post should help!
Many people want to spend Spring Break somewhere warm, especially if they are looking forward to breaking out of winter’s grasp. But not everyone wants to spend Spring Break sitting by a pool. This list has a little bit of everything, so no matter what your family enjoys most, hopefully one of these Spring Break vacation ideas appeals to you!
If you do want to spend Spring Break next to a pool, try a family friendly resort like Atlantis in the Bahamas. You’ll find something for everyone, including a gigantic 141-acre water park, a golf course, numerous pools, and a casino.
I have family who love the Horseshoe Canyon Ranch in Arkansas! There is a wide variety of things for the entire family to enjoy, and not just for a day or two. Activities at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch include canoeing, horseback riding, zip lines and rock climbing. Kids can also fish in the pond, practice skeet shooting, or take a wagon ride. Adults can enjoy a quiet hike or a cozy campfire. A family can spend an entire week here and not run out of fun things to do!
Some families live in the desert, so when Spring Break arrives it’s a great time to escape to a place where Spring skiing and other snow sports are a thing. Consider visiting Park City, Utah. In a great snowpack year, skiing continues well into May! The kids can experience the snow, learn to ski or snowboard, and build snow forts to their hearts’ content.
A cruise is last {but not least} on my list of Spring Break vacation ideas for kids. Check with your travel agent for the best cruise lines for your family, but you can probably never go wrong with Disney Cruise Lines. Contrary to popular belief, they don’t just cater to kids. There is something for kids, adults and teens to enjoy during your cruise.
