Easy Bird Feeder Crafts for Kids

Today’s post is all about easy bird feeder crafts for kids. It’s the time of year when the weather is warming up and the birds are out in force, so it’s the perfect time to keep the kids or grandkids busy making bird feeders. They’ll love watching the birds come to feast, and you’ll love watching the excitement on their faces!


Run to Dollar Tree and pick up some crafting popsicle sticks. They provide a cheap, easy and colorful bird feeder that the kids won’t have any trouble putting together.

Mix bird seed with all-natural gelatin, then the kids can press the mixture into silicone molds to harden. Hang them around the yard for a bird feeder you can feel good about.Just think of the many shapes you can create. How about stars for the Fourth of July?

Press your bird seed + gelatin mixture into an orange rind, and hang the whole thing from a tree branch. They look so pretty!
