Fun crafts for kids include making Ninja Turtle puppets. To make the puppets, collect Styrofoam balls, green paint, google eyes, glue and felt. You’ll also need craft sticks and a sponge brush. Paint the foam balls the night before. This will give the paint time to dry. Then, hand them over to your kids to decorate. They can make scarfs from the felt, add the google eyes and the craft sticks. Once complete, your kids are sure to create stories and scenarios for their turtle puppets.
Toilet Paper Roll Ninjas
If you prefer crafts that involve toilet paper rolls, then toilet paper roll ninjas are the perfect project for you and your kids. For this craft, you’ll need empty toilet paper rolls, markers, googly eyes, glue and cardstock paper. Once your kids start planning and putting together their Ninja Turtles, you’ll see just how deep their creative side goes.
Handprint Ninja Turtles
Crafts for kids of the easy variety include making handprint Ninja Turtles. To make this craft, you’ll need acrylic paint in green, blue, yellow, orange and red as well as paintbrushes, cardstock and puffy paint in black and white. Once you’re ready to begin, paint your kid’s hand with the green paint and have him or her form handprints on the cardstock. It works best for your child to keep his or her fingers tucked closely together when making the handprint. A thumb or a single finger works well for making legs. Once the green dries, your kid can use the other colors to form the shell and the scarfs.
