My sister-in-law had a baby not too long ago and we are all about taking cute baby pictures right now. Can’t let those precious early months go by without documenting all the wonderful things Baby is doing! Here are adorable ways to photograph your newborn baby.
Make an emphasis on Baby’s tiny size. This can easily be done by including other people or objects in the photo to help show just how tiny Baby is. Image source.
Let’s Get Candid
For as adorable as posed photos are, candid pictures can be just as cute, if not better. These are the moments you really capture Baby discovering the world all around. So sweet! Image source.
Zoom in on tiny features to capture all the little details. I promise you won’t remember all the little miracles that make Baby Baby unless you capture them on film. They’ll love having you tell stories about the photos as they grow up!
Round up all your children for a photo session with Baby. I love the photos we have of each of my boys but my favorite pictures are those in which they are together (You’ll want to pull these out often once they’re old enough to start arguing). Source.
Try to capture some candid photos of Baby mimicking someone or something else. These make for hilarious pictures that everyone will love to laugh at for years to come. Monkey see… monkey do. Source.
Mommy, Daddy, & Me
One of my biggest regrets with my oldest son was that we never took photos of him with both my husband and myself all in the picture. We have some of Baby with Dad and some of Baby with Mom, but not all three of us together. Get some posed. Get some candid. Just get them! Source.
